Bio

Emanuel is a narrative and documentary cinematographer and still photographer based in Wilmington, NC. He's shot weddings, music videos, marketing reels, and worked as a DP in various short films.

Emanuel's work revolves around the exploration of lighting and the camera and their relationship with the real world and the emotional processes that takes place within the viewer and their attribution of meaning to the picture. By utilizing simple and motivated lighting and effective choreography of the camera, he brings realism to the screen in a way that people can feel immersed in a place they’ve never been before but can still maintain familiarity to it and believe it to be real.
